2. Jocelyn Robertson - Coverstar of Issue #36 "The Jetset Shut-In Issue" and a professional model/actress. Currently she resides in New York with her boyfriend.
3. Kevin O'Conner - A regular but friendly face in the Silverlake scene. If you see this guy at a show, you know it's probably going to be good. You can often see him videotaping the performances he attends and has a video library that traces the Silverlake scene back to the early 90s with recordings of POSSUM DIXON, SIX VOLT SUNBEAM, V L A, and many more.
4. Brian Button - The only person who can say that he had a whole issue dedicated to himself. Brian Button appeared on the cover and the pages of Issue #20 "The Brian Button Issue" as well as on the covers of Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue" and issue #37 "The Issue Of Intense Thrills". Brian is a friend of Chris Beyond from high school.
5. Jenny Lang - is a good friend of Chris Beyond's and has appeared on the covers of Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue", Issue #26 "The Deja Vu Issue", Issue #32 "The Broken Issue", and Issue #37 "The Issue Of Intense Thrills". She is also very busy as a photographer who, in addition to shooting the photos for the Creekbird interview in Issue #45, has shot photos for Coca Cola, Jane Magazine, and many more.

He resides in Memphis and is currently working on releasing Teenage Tupelo on DVD in addition to developing several projects.
7. Virginia Felsom - Her photos were the basis of the cover of Issue #3 "The Sexxxy Issue" which garnered some notoriety when No-Fi was in it's black and white 'zine' format. It was one of our most popular and sometimes misunderstood issues at the time when people had trouble getting past her natural-ness on the photocopy-quality cover. From last we've heard, she has since had a breast reduction and only modeled for a very short time.
8. Menso - Since issue #2, Menso has appeared in the "It's Menso!" comic strips by Elrod - aka Ernie Mejia (See #34 below). His adventures rarely took him away from the safety of his couch.
9. Crime Bunny - This scary bunny attacking Verity Smith on the cover of Issue #40 "The Totally True Crime Issue" was actually portrayed by Chris Beyond in costume and was photographed by Laurie Wilson (See #13 below). The costume can still be found in a costume shop on Hollywood Blvd.
10. Elvira - Not the popular horror movie hostess with the mostess, but the former drummer of THE SILVERSUN PICKUPS who also designed the cover of Issue #48 "The Lovebird Issue Issue". (Yes, there are suppossed to be TWO issues there.)
11. Idyl Rose - She didn't know that I had madeher picture from a performance at Exotic World into a covershot for Issue #37 "The Issue Of Intense Thrills" until a couple weeks after it was done. She's since become a cool friend and I always run into her at shows though we don't get to truely hang out as much as I'd like.
12. Brandon Huff - If you look closely, you can find Brandon of the covers of Issue #26 "The Deja Vu Issue", Issue #32 "The Broken Issue", and Issue #35 "The Make-Out Issue". He's done a lot of cool things here and there for No-Fi "Magazine" and No-Fi "Radio". He's helped to record bands that play live on No-Fi "Radio" and helped put together the code for the No-Fi "Concert Calendar". He even gave some of his own blood, cutting himself on a can he was opening when helping to prepare for KAITO's like appearance which required him to go to the hospital to get stitches, sadly missing the band who were in town from the UK.
13. Laurie Wilson - The photographer of Issue #40 "The Totally True Crime Issue". (and if you look close, you can see a picture of her behind the text underneath the main picture) and is featured on the cover of Issue #47 "El Santa Contra La Floozy Del Navidad". She will probably be appearing on one of our covers in the future as the main coverstar and is scheduled to do more photography in future issues. She's also shot for Vibe and Jane Magazines. Her and Chris Beyond last worked together on their non no-fi related Burlesque Barbeque photo project.
14. Rob Hondrick - Coverstar of Issue #34 "Today's Special Issue" and also a member of the bands EAR BEYOND (with Chris Beyond) and DON SALSA. He has also helped engineer a few No-Fi "Radio" live performances including GRAVY TRAIN!!!!, KAITO, and YOUNG PEOPLE.
15. Buxom Vixen - This gal filled in at the very last minute when the original model scheduled to star of the cover of Issue #44 "It's Menso's Issue" and we'll always be greatful for it. She's heavy into the rockabilly scene and runs her own retro clothing company.
16. David 1-X - A long time contributing writer for No-Fi "Magazine" as well as the coverstar of Issue #27 "The Suspicious Issue" as well as appearing on the cover of Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue" and uncredited on another issue. He has his own band called ARK SPURTING BLOOD and has performed with THE CENTIMETERS and QUIN95 (fronted by Quin from No-Fi "Radio"). He painted part of the cover of Issue #29 "The Sexiesque Issue". He was around from the earliest days of No-Fi "Magazine" and has since contributed interviews and storys to us. His first appearance in No-Fi's pages was in Issue #13 "The Clowns Issue" back in 1997.
18. Don Knotts - We lost actor Don Knotts shortly before this issue went to press. Being a big fan of his films The Ghost And Mr. Chicken, The Reluctant Astronaut, and perhaps his greatest (and least seen work) in The Love God? as a church going man who finds himself running an adult magazine empire. And yes, of course we loved him as Mr Furley in Three's Company. We put him on the cover as both a tribute and in some way let him party with all of our friends forever at a burlesque show in the afterlife. I can't imagine a more enjoyable way to pass the end of your days.
19. Lyssa - the coverstar of last December's Issue #52 "The Underwater Winter Wonderland Issue" is quite the charmer and is very nice too. She lives in New York and in addition to modeling has done a little acting as well. She even toured with the musical production of Hairspray. She's scheduled to do another cover this year.
20. Jeff McClain - A regular co-host on Quin's No-Fi "Radio" shows, he was also one of our first interviews in No-Fi "Magazine". He and Quin interviewed each other in Issue #8 "The Playedgurl Issue" from November of 1996. He has performed with several bands including SPACE ROTATO and QUIN95. He's been a friend of No-Fi from the very begining back in 1996.
21. Amy Voorhees - A regular guest on No-Fi "Radio" and occasional colaborator, she is one of Chris Beyond's best friends. She's from New Jersey and rarely takes any guff from anybody. She works in the entertainment industry behind the scenes.
22. David Lang - Younger brother of Jenny Lang (See #5 above), David is our official intern and opens a lot of the mail you send us. He goes to college studying to eventually become a film director.
23. Augusta -Sometimes going by her burlesque name Penny Starr Jr. (named after her grandmother who herself was a burlesque star), Augusta is an acomplished film director (The Velvet Hammer Burlesque documentary) and has become a great friend to the magazine. She'll be turning up on one of our covers this year as well. This current issue marks her no-fi contributing writing debut.
24. Don Spiro - Another great friend to No-Fi "Magazine", we met Don through coverstar Darcey Leonard (see #41 below) and he has since shot the covers of Issue #41 "The Broken Candy Hearts Issue", #46 "The Haunting Issue" and, #52 "The Underwater Winder Wonderland Issue". He is sceduled for at least a couple more this year and will be shooting part of a pictorial as well in an upcoming issue. He's a great guy and fun to work with. He is also one of the top burlesque photographers working today as well as a great lighting specialist whose work can be seen in the film Memento. I highly recommend his photography for any magazine.
25. Claire Donner - Chris Beyond met Claire at a Fangoria Magazine Weekend Of Horrors convention and got along with her famously for the weekend that she was visiting L.A. from New Jersey. She's also Amy Voorhees' best friend (See #21 above). The morning after a hotel party in which Chris, Quin, Amy, Claire, Jocelyn, and a few others watched films all night, Chris Beyond shot the photos of Claire that would end up on the cover and inside of Issue #38 "The Mystery Underwear Issue" (So named for the unclaimed pair of undies found in the bathroom that morning). Currently she works for a DVD company in New York.
26. Kim Murray - Kim is the coverstar of issue #28 "The Overly Patriotic Issue", appeared on the covers of Issue #32 "The Broken Issue" and Issue #37 "The Issue Of Intense Thrills". She was even chosen to be the star of the 50th issue of No-Fi "Magazine" #50 "The Issue For All Seasons". She is one of Chris Beyond's favorite models to work with and has also modeled for Paper Magazine. She runs her own company called Design Cafeteria with her boyfriend James (who also models from time to time, but hasn't made his No-Fi cover debut yet, although he has been photographed by Chris Beyond).
27. Holly-Tron - You hear about Chris Beyond's significant other from time to time in No-Fi "Magazine". She prefers to stay behind the scenes rather than be in the spotlight. She did appear in cartoon form on the cover of Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue". She met Chris Beyond at Golden Apple Comics back in 1996 when he was passing out copies of Issue #2 there. She didn't really care for the "magazine" but seemed to like the guy behind it.
28. Kitty Diggins - photographed by Don Spiro, Kitty is the coverstar of Issue #46 "The Haunting Issue", was featured as part of the cover of Issue #47 "El Santa Contra La Floozy Del Navidad", is and a contributing writer to No-Fi "Magazine". 31. Taryn - is the coverstar of Issue #49 "The Most Disturbing Issue Ever" and in addition to modeling for No-Fi here and there, she is also a contributing writer as well as a good friend of Chris Beyond's. Currently her day job is as a receptionist at an adult film company where she jas even written one of their films. She has no interest is starring in any of their films though. She is sceduled to appear in the next issue of No-Fi "Magazine" as part of a special feature article.
32. Roger Boxx - A great artist, animator, and illustrator, Roger has been a contributing writer to No-Fi "Magazine" since we transfered to our online format. He actually first appeared in the paper version of No-Fi in Issue #18 "The Outer Space Issue" with his comic strip "I Often Hallucinate". Currently he is traveling in Sounth America.
33. Sabrina Cognata - Chris Beyond was a fan of her writing even before she jumped on board the S.S. No-Fi. She didn't seem that phased when we told her that this wasn't actually a cruise ship, but a "magazine". She is also the coverstar of Issue #51 "The Wheel Of Themes Issue" and will model again in the next issue of No-Fi "Magazine" But it's her writing that won our hearts and we're very happy to have her as a part of the team.
34. Ernie Mejia - Where is this guy anyway? Ernie is one of the founding writers of No-Fi "Magazine". He illustrated the covers of Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue" and Issue #44 "It's Menso's Issue". He has played in the bands POPULAR GIRL, FAITH COLLAPSING, AGENT CHESTER DESMOND, QUIN95, and EAR BEYOND (from which he took his last name). He has performed in The Cacaphony Society and appeared with them on HBO's Sex Bytes. He has been published in Harpers, Ben Is Dead, A Mind Like Pumice, and The Shlümpf Newzletter, and has been a guest on L.A. Radio Station KROQ's Loveline and The Kevin & Bean Show. You can see him on the covers of Issue #9 "The Toy Issue" and Issue #21 "The Wacky Issue". His illustrations have appeared on Issues #6, 12, 14, and our current issue. He has designed almost every cover of No-Fi since 1996 and his photography has been featured on many of them as well. Currently he is probably typing something for No-Fi and is always thinking of the next big issue or project to work on.
36. Vahe Vahe - He's the newest member of the No-Fi "Magazine" staff as No-Fi "Radio"'s newest DJ after doing several guest DJ spots over the last year. 38. Creekbird - can be seen on the cover of Issue #45 "The Teen Beating Issue" (one of the few coverstars who has been on the cover of the same issue they have been interviewed in). His music is a favorite on No-Fi "Radio" and he's even guest hosted a couple episodes of that same show. Currently he is working on a Song-A-Week project where he writes, records, and releases a new song every week via his Myspace page and we hope he'll also find the time to guest host another episode soon.

She has appeared in the films Broad Daylight and Spring Forward, Fall Back, and has appeared on The Discovery Channel for her burlesque talents and was featured in the cable series Deadwood (but not cursing up a storm like everyone else in the cast). She is always organizing a great show in the Los Angeles area and they are not to be missed.
40. Ryan Lies - Ryan has been a great addition to the No-Fi "Magazine" team since he joined up a couple years ago. He is our head movie reviewer and occasionally writes the occasional article too. And he does all of this miles away from the No-Fi "homebase" from his home in Grand Rapids, Michigan where he is also the lead singer of the band TENTICLE. Currently he is on vacation, but should be back soon and may even visit L.A. this August.

He was the lead singer of the band QUIN95, a pretty good artist, and is currently waiting for this article to come out.
43. Emmy Collins - Starring as "El Santa" on the cover of Issue #47 "El Santa Contra La Floozy Del Navidad" is pretty minor when you look at this guy's page on the Internet Movie Database. He has starred as Jesus, and a slew of hippies and junkies in several movies and television shows. An always working actor, he is also a producer and director of such short films as the excellent The Egoist and Headshot. He's also guest hosted an episode of No-Fi "Radio". Emmy's a great friend to the magazine and he's always welcome in our pages.
44. Little Brooklyn - You can find her on the March & April 2006 concert calendar of this issue. One of the recent covers that garnered a lot of praise and e-mail was for Issue #53-B "Lovesick Sailors And Sassy Skirts". While it wasn't an official issue, the response we got just from that cover alone was amazing. It was shot by Simcha Whitehill in New York and Little Brooklyn said that they had quite a time trying to get the perfect shot from the actual Navy sailors walking the streets. We'll have to have Little Brooklyn on an official cover sometime soon, don'tcha think?
