It was right around the time when Lovelines got started on Mtv. They had a chatroom on AOL that was going on while the show was being taped. In between episodes (They would tape three in a day) they would have the celebrities come in and talk to the cyber-nerds (and me cuz I'm certainly not one of them). Here are the questions that I axed Jill.
J = Jill Cunniff (LUSCIOUS JACKSON vocals/guitar)
Q = The Mighty Quin (Me!)
Q: (Typing) "Hi Jill, I love your hair!"
J: (Typing) "Thanks for the compliment...anyone have any good questions for us? Keep it spicy please."
Q: (Typing) "Jill, is it true the idea for the Naked Eye video came from a film? What film?"
J: (Typing) "Our video was inspired by the Bunuel film `That Obscure Object Of Desire' and also a film called `Mon Oncle' by Tati."
Q: (Typing) "What are some of your favorite bands right now?"
J: (Typing) "Ok...I love Neneh Cherry, Buffallo Daughter, Fiona Apple, and Patti Smith."
(At this point I see something shiny out of the corner of my eye and lose all interest.)
J: (Typing) "Well, we're leaving you kids now, bye to everyone who cared & asked real questions."
