Huge and Exclusive Interview With
BRUCE CAMPBELL

I originally did this interview for a neat little zine way back in 1993. For those of you who dodn't know who Bruce Campbell is, then you may have not seen him in such great films such as THE EVIL DEAD, EVIL DEAD 2: DEAD BY DAWN, ARMY OF DARKNESS, MOONTRAP, MANIAC COP, MINDWARP, DARKMAN, and THE HUDSUCKER PROXY...and in tv shows like THE ADVENTURES OF BRISCO COUNTY JR., XENA, ELLEN, and HOMICIDE: LIFE ON THE STREETS. Anyway, the following two interviews took place at The Hollywood Book And Poster Company. As I tried to interview Bruce, he was trying to leave after a long day of signing autographs while promoting his new film ARMY OF DARKNESS. As you will read, I didn't get much...

B = Bruce Campbell

C: Bruce, what do you have to say for A Mind Like Pumice?
B: Yeah, next time you pass by, please do.

(By the way, I met him again after this and he was very nice and even signed my friend Brian Button's guitar...so he's not so bad kids.)

This guy was signing autographs along side of Bruce, but wasn't in as big a hurry to get out. In fact he seemed to be enjoying all of the attention he was getting. He is in the film ARMY OF DARKNESS (EVIL DEAD III) as Duke Henry The Red.

C = Chris Beyond
R = Richard Grove

C: Ok, what's your name?
R: Richard Grove...G-R-O-V-E.
C: And you play what in ARMY OF DARKNESS?
R: I play Duke Henry The Red.
C: Allright, and what does he do in the film?
R: He is the king of the lowlands who is fighting the king of the city that Ash intervines in their inter-nursing rivalry.
C: Can I ask you a personal question?
R: Sure.
C: What's your favorite kind of egg?
R: Ummmmmm...probably thousand year old egg.
C: Thousand year old egg?
R: Yeah.
C: Is that hard boiled or is it like that anyway?
R: I'm not sure...it was a thousand years ago, so I don't know how they prepared it.
C: Well, there you go. Hey, thanks a lot!
R: Sure, anytime. Can I sign those other posters for you?
C: Hey thanks!

THY ENDE OF THY INTERVIEW!
