NO-FI "RADIO" Episode #23
hosted by Chris Beyond
July 8, 2002
This was a sad show for me. It was supposed to be the "patriotic show" but my friendship with former No-Fi pal Kelly Jensen was crashing fast and it was all over stupid stuff that we thought we could work out via e-mail...well, I thought, anyway. (Note to all you out there: don't have important arguments via e-mail...things can be taken the totally wrong way than you mean't them!) I pretty much did this show for her instead of the playlist I had intended to do this particular week even though I knew she wouldn't ever hear it. It still bums me out.~ Chris Beyond

NO-FI "RADIO" Episode #25 "The 25th Episode Special!"
hosted by Chris Beyond & Quin
July 22, 2002
Oh, the 25th Episode Special! What a looong crazy day of recording this show was.In order to celebrate our 25th episode, we played the music from our friends and the first people we interviewed that got us where we were at that point. It was a 2 hour show that seemed soooo much longer with a billion songs or so (well maybe a little less than a billion as you can see below). We kept most of the songs pretty chronological too in order to show the progression of music we were dealing with on a local level in the Southbay/Los Angeles area. We try to play some of these bands every once in a while so we don't forget where we came from. The one big omission from the show in my point of view is Girlscouts On A Swing fronted by Marc Fischer (also one of our first writers), James Sinclare and Thom Whaling. My guess is that I forgot to bring the tape or just plain couldn't find it.~ Chris Beyond
