Miss Lyssa as Lizzie Bordin

Lizbeth Bordin always dreamt of a life of adventure, but her wealthy, yet strict, parents never let her stray very far from their modest Massachusetts home. She watched the world pass by through her window as her Stepmother milked the old man for cash and property in the floors below. How she longed to frolic with the animals, work behind the scenes in the theater, and write about anything her mind took fancy to...

The years slipped by and it seemed that nothing would ever change until the day they found her dad and stepmother laying about the house in the deepest of sleep with significantly less space between the insides of their skulls and the air outside. Lizzie must have been pretty upset because it was said that she was in a constant state of whistling, heel clicking, and kept saying the word "Cha-Ching!"

One short trial and acquittal later, Lizzie bought herself a new and bigger pad. Sure the press would hound her every now and then, but at least they kept more than an arm's reach distance from her. They never found the murder weapon, but people often wondered why Lizzie would need to raise an axe to hail a cab or to hit a pinata. Later children would sing this rhyme while jumping rope...

Lizzie Borden took an axe
and gave her mother forty whacks.
When she saw what she had done
she gave her father forty-one.

Silly geese. Besides it only took 19 to take her Stepmother down and barely 10 for her Pop. People can be so ignorant sometimes.
